Sponsorship proposal & design for LKL
Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) is one of the most prestigious sport organisations within Lithuania. It is the most popular sports league in the country, where such teams as “Žalgiris” Kaunas and Vilniaus “Rytas” compete to be crowned as the best and represent the country across European tournaments - Euroleague and Eurocup. LKL wished to solidify one of their key documents - sponsorship proposal.
Our solution was to craft a proposal that would match the quality of the organisation and would showcase what LKL has to offer in an innovative, on-brand and data-driven way. For this, we carried out an extensive analysis of information, statistics and data surrounding LKL sponsorship and explored possible opportunities for additional sponsorship integrations. All this, lead up to a brand new look and feel of LKL’s sponsorship proposal, with new structure, data metrics, partnership packages, sponsorship positions, visualisations of partner positions, overall design, new integration solutions and various other elements.
To no surprise basketball is the biggest sport in Lithuania. Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) is the most popular national sports tournament, and it is also one of the strongest basketball leagues across Europe. Currently league’s team roster comprises out of 10 clubs that compete in two main tournaments - Lithuanian Basketball League and Karalius Mindaugas Cup. The star team of the league is Kauno “Žalgiris”, who are the most frequent league champions and past European title winners. Nevertheless, the contest is getting more competitive each season, as teams like Vilniaus “Rytas”, Klaipėdos “Neptūnas” or Panevėžio “Lietkabelis” offer fiercer and fiercer competition on national and European fronts. Being a sports organisation of the highest calibre, the league decided to invest into a rebuild of one of their key documents - sponsorship proposal.
Success and longevity of any sports sponsorship relies on how well both parties outline and meet agreed goals. The document that we set out to create was to become the backbone of any future partnership and clearly outline ROSI (Return On Sponsorship Investment) metrics. We began the process with extensive analysis of information, statistics and data surrounding LKL sponsorship and explored possibilities for additional partner integrations. Rigorous research, client input, creative and analytical sessions led up to a brand new look and feel of LKL’s sponsorship proposal. We crafted: new structure, partnership packages, sponsorship positions, data metrics, new integration solutions, visuals for partner positions, overall design and other various elements to give LKL a document that would represent their organisation in an innovative, on-brand and data-driven way. On a last note, the proposal really reveals what it means to be a partner of Lithuanian Basketball League and the gravity with which the organisation executes partnership agreements and shows care for its’ partners.
